The Opportunity
PICTON Investments is presently seeking a dynamic Intern, Data Analyst with a passion about Asset Management to join our Performance & Analytics team. The Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data transformation projects where the candidate supports replacing legacy reporting systems and helps build a scalable database to service functionality and reporting. The role supports various business stakeholders across sales, investment, portfolio management, compliance and marketing. The successful candidate will have proficiency working with BI, analytics and reporting tools such as Tableau, Python, SQL, Power BI and strong understanding of data management.
Key Responsibilities
Work cross-functionally with various business stakeholders, including sales, investment, portfolio management, and marketing.
Assist in automating manual workflows to streamline data management, reducing the operational risk.
Support data transformation and reporting initiatives.

What we’re looking for
Currently pursuing in an undergraduate degree in STEM programs (Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or any other related discipline).
Minimum 1 year of combined experience in data management and analysis.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL, VBA
Experience working with Data Warehouse and Cloud Environment (Azure).
Proficiency working with Business Intelligence, analytics and reporting tools (Tableau, Python, SQP Power BI).
Strong understanding of data management, transformation, and automation processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to the success of various business units.
A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
